   Dear Jon — This is a beautiful tribute to Dad and I am so grateful for the time and effort it took you when I know you were at your very busiest! I’m also grateful to read comments from other family members as it gives me even more insight into the power one person has to make in the lives of others. It’s interesting that this ended up being posted on Feb. 11, which is Dad’s birthdate. It’s also the day you and Carrie began your journeys to Indonesia and India to explore the unknown — pretty risky!!

   Happy 80th Birthday, Grandpa Gordon! While you are not on this earth to celebrate this with us, I know you’re looking down on all of us with great joy and pride! Thanks Dad, Grandpa, Gordon, Buster (his nickname well into his 30’s)!

   What beautiful photos! Thank you for posting these – I always forget just how much music was a part of Grandpa’s life. …and how much JT and Brian look like him!
