I am a Geography teacher at a juvenile correctional facility in Greeley Colorado. I use websites to show the kids a different part of the world other than their backyard. If it is not a problem could you send us an email every once in awhile while you are on your adventure. The students love to live vicariously while they are locked up. They are 10-21 years old and very interested in the world around them. Thanks, Jill Andre

    Hi Folks,
I am a 65 year old nuclear security officer, residing in Evans, CO. Last year in April, I flew to Kathmandu, Nepal; then on to Lukla, and completed the trek to Mt Everest Base Camp at 17600 ft. I climbed Kala Pattar at 18,200 the next day in order to photograph Everest. That was a maximum effort; have doubts about a climb above 19000. Will follow your climb up Kilimanjaro instead. Good luck.

Wow, your site is attracting some great attention. It is really exciting that the teacher (from the juvenile facitlity) are really following you. Think of what you are accomplishing!
