Jonathans Answers
If money were no object what would your dream home look like?
Money’s not an object to prevent. Money enables. It will enable me to build a castle. A big castle. This home will also be a model for solar and renewable energy. I know it sounds like a funny concept, but it’s already all charted out in my mind.
If money were no object where would you shop for clothes?
Money’s not an object to prevent. Money enables. I will probably shop at the same places I do now. I don’t really know. Clothes aren’t high on my priority list. I will get a bunch of custom-tailored suits and a bigger variety of colors of shirts and ties though.
If money were no object where would you like to go on vacation?
All the places I’m going to go on vacation anyway. Money is not an object to prevent you from doing the things you want to do. Russia, China, Slovenia, Egypt, South Africa, Antarctica, Taiwan, Siberia, Greenland, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Canada, Victoria Falls, Bahrain, Indonesia, Alaska, Bermuda, the Bahamas,…
If money were no object would you prefer domestic help or would you cook and clean yourself?
I get almost no satisfaction from cleaning my own house, so absolutely someone else can clean. Cooking… well, someone to help with ideas and shopping, but I rather enjoy cooking.
If you could go back in time, with whom would you like to spend a day with?
Jesus. My Grandpa Gordon in his 20’s, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, Frank Bettger, and I’m sure a hundred others…
If you could go forward in time, what would you want to know?
If we’ve figured out yet that there really is no us vs. them… there is only us, and we make no sense when we destroy one another. I would want to know if as a golbal society we had come to the realization that we need to stop fighting “Them”.
If you could be an animal for one day, what would you be and why?
An Elephant or a Lion. The Elephant is a wise and majestic creature, but fierce when angered. The lion is the king of the jungle, no one messes with him, and there’s so much power in a lion.
If you could read one person’s mind, whose would it be?
I don’t feel like I have the right to forcefully attempt to know the thoughts of someone who doesn’t want me to know those thoughts. If people really try to read body language and really hear what is in other people’s voices, then there’s no need for mind reading.

If you won 1 million dollars, what would you do with it?
I’m boring on this too. Pay off all debt, bank the money, and find ways of safely investing it to live off the interest. Then, using my time freedom, I’d go out and earn another 2 million.
If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?
Mere wishing for a thing doesn’t make it true. This question should read: “If you could manifest one thing in your life, and make it real TODAY, what would it be?” And my answer to that would be that I would have already provided enough value to the world that my financial needs and wants would already be completely taken care of. But the thing that makes those needs and wants worth having is the work (mentally and/or physically) it took to bring them into fruition. So I’m still working on this one.
What makes the world go round?
I would like to say that love makes the world go ’round. But I don’t think that’s true. What really moves the world is gravity. But, in a human sense, what makes humans move forward is when marketers (assuming titles of President, author, salesperson, etc.) use passion to convey belief which inspires action in large groups of people. The action can have positive or negative results, but the action is always motivated by someone who understands how to use marketing concepts to convey their passion for something to people who buy into what they’re saying and take action on what they have heard.
What one thing do you think would create peace in the world?
What I have learned is that I’m not going to be able to change things alone. We’re all, globally, going to need to come to an understanding that the human heart is the same around the world, and when we learn to stop focusing so much on this idea that it’s somehow ‘them versus us’, as individuals, as groups, as religions, as races, and as countries, we will learn how truly similar we are. This will allow us to celebrate our differences, and work towards a more common, peaceful, and practical future. Do I think this will be easy? No. Do I think it’s possible? Absolutely!
What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
I will come back to this question later.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
That I am really genuine.
What gift have you received that you will always treasure?
The support and love of people who believe in me.
What was your most embarrassing moment in High School?
I’m sure there are hundreds of things I did that probably embarassed the people around me much more than they embarassed me.
What is the worst gift someone ever gave you?
A jar of pickles that was three years old. I won it for getting the most gutterballs when I was bowling at Gregg Murray’s birthday party in 2nd grade.
What is the best gift someone ever gave you?
What is the best gift people can give me? Their love and support, letting me know how much they believe in me.
