Close to the Grand Palace in Bangkok, is Wat Po. Wat Po is home to the reclining Buddha. While not the world’s largest reclining Buddha (which is in Myanmar), it is certainly big!
The whole temple complex is rather large, and it is worth a wander around.
It’s full of amazing artwork in the form of mosaics, paintings, and statues.
Look at Jonathan next to the chedi. It dwarfs him!
The main attraction, and where you’ll find the most tourists is at the reclining Buddha.
On the under-side of Buddha’s feet is an amazing artistic mosaic made of mother-of-pearl that depicts the life of Buddha.
One other thing I learned at Wat Po, is that duct tape really does fix everything. No matter where you are in the world.
