By Nature, A Vision
by Jonathan Kraft
Written sometime in the winter, 2004
I am, by nature, a vision
The visions I see of the things we will build…
of the hopes we will realize…
of the fears we will manifest…
of the anger reciprocated on us…
of the love we actualize…
Oh, what visions I have.
And I wonder, vision that I am…
What control can I say
What role could I play
What soul would I stay in action?
What toll could I pay
What goal can I lay
Is there an influence to be exerted upon
these visions by me
As an observer, a visionary, of all I see,
is there a way to change what I see?
