For those who don’t know, we are big fans of professional indoor lacrosse. We have seats that are three rows up behind the Mammoth bench, and really have a great time at the games.
And, here it is again, the start of another season… although for a while the league and players couldn’t agree on some things, so they weren’t sure that there was going to be a season.
But they got it figured out, and so we’re very excited to have been able to atend the first Mammoth game of the season!

There are a few changes to the 2008 Colorado Mammoth. Unfortunately, Gary Gait is no longer head coach. Two very familiar players have also left the team: Stilly (77) and “ManCub” (22). But that doesn’t mean that the Mammoth don’t still put on an exciting show.
At the end of the first half of the season opener, the Mammoth were down 2-5 against the Calgary RoughNecks.
But they came back to win it 10-9.
It was an incredible game, with some crazy moments. (Brian Langtry may be looking into better personal protection (the guy who hit him was ejected from the game for intentionally whacking him between the legs with his stick), and the RoughNeck’s goalie got knocked out when he was hit in the head by a ball.)
