The Jati homestay is on a family compound where about 20 or so family members live.
It’s located about 15 minutes (walking) from the main road in Ubud, and about 15 minutes (walking) from the monkey forest.
The family is extremely nice. And they are painters. While you stay there, be sure to check out their art studio.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are really nice. They just melt beneath you (in a good way). There is no air conditioning, but there is a fan.
In the morning you can look out over the rice fields, and enjoy the delicious breakfast that comes as part of the room cost. They can even arrange airport pick up and drop off.
I really enjoyed our time at Jati, and it’s where we’ll stay again the next time we’re in Ubud.
