I didn’t really learn much about Mainz in the short time we were there. We went there with Doro and Nasser because Nasser had a job interview.

While Nasser went for his interview, Doro, Carrie and I did get to wander around in the city a bit.

Doro showed us a couple of her favorite shops, some of the old buildings, the newly restored buildings around the main square in town, and the cathedral.

The Mainz Cathedral is a double-altar cathedral that is huge and impressive.

I also tested the acoustics with a whistle. The acoustics are equally impressive.
