This is a poem I wrote for a real estate trainer, who wanted a way to help real estate agents (whom he trains) thank their clients for their business and referrals.

Thank-You For Your Business

Though we may not have spoken recently,
there is a point I want you to know.
The referrals that you’ve sent to me
have helped my business to grow.

Working in the industry of real estate,
real trust is the basis of everything.
You’ve shown your trust in so many ways,
one way is how you’ve helped my phone ring.

And so as I send this message to you,
I’m thinking of a way I can demonstrate
my thanks in a way that is meaningful.
How can I really illuminate

that without you my business would be less?
It’s important you know how much you mean.
Your words to friends have grown my business.
This kind of kindness I had not foreseen.

You are my client, but much more than that,
and yours is friendship that I want to build.
Yours is a life that I want to bless.
Your experience with me should always be filled

with ways to help your life be even better.
It’s the least I can do for all that you’ve done
You deserve the very best from me,
so there’s something new that I have begun.

A newsletter I’m going to send to you.
I’ll communicate with you more regularly.
Not run-of-the-mill, this relevant news
will help you to save more time and money.

This valuable info will come to you soon.
I’m excited to show you what I have in store.
