Poem: Quiet Knowledge

It is July of 1994 and Jonathan is 14 when he writes this poem.

Quiet Knowledge
by Jonathan Kraft

Quiet Knowledge
Innocence
Feelings
Impact
Wonderings

Peace War Hate Love

Fear
Darkness
Darkness so dark it forever blinds

God
Light
Finding god in a loving light

Quiet understandings
Understanding we are all different
But the same.
Not seeing, but feeling through a looking eye
Not listening, but feeling through a hearing ear
Understanding nature is all around us

We are nature
Nature that was made not to destroy
But to create
God created us as nature
So that we might also create
Not destroy
We’re not to destroy other nature.

Quiet faith
Faith is quiet
For faith is a believing
A believing of knowledge
Knowledge of a feeling inside the soul.
Inside the soul, we reside with god.
God is love to be spread throughout the world.
In finding God/love inside our souls, we must help others to do the same.
God is love.

Perceptions
The way we feel the world
Not by itself seeing, hearing, or touching
But all of these together
A feeling perception inside the soul.
Quiet knowledge
