It’s Turtle Time! Hatching Turtles at La Tortuga Feliz
La Tortuga Feliz: Releasing baby turtles – So we started taking those out and measured and released 60 turtles. It was fun to hear their shells clicking together. They don’t really make sound, other than the little peeps coming from one that got stuck in the fence – we got that turtle out and released it to the ocean.

La Tortuga Feliz: Turtle tracks, but no turtle. Patrolled the beach last night with Neil and our guide Carlos last night from 10:00PM-2:00AM. Saw turtle tracks up the beach and back to the ocean, but no eggs and no turtle. Last night was the clearest I have ever seen the constellation Orion.

La Tortuga Feliz: Seeing big turtles. I haven’t seen any big turtles, but hope to in our time here at La Tortuga Feliz. If I don’t see them here (Carrie already saw one), perhaps we’ll see one while SCUBAing, or maybe when we visit the Galapagos Islands?
