When We Get Up In the Morning…

Whether the language is Arabic or Hindi,
or a person is Christian, Jew, or Scientology,
there’s one thing on which we’ll all agree;
at some point we’re all going to have to pee.

Whether you like some sugar in your tea;
no matter what you put into your coffee;
(even if you went to bed at quarter after three;)
there’s among us humans, this commonality.

Maybe this won’t make the world’s slaves free,
create world peace, or stop world war three,
but a movement can begin based on singularity.
Maybe something good comes from something easy.
Maybe we can have some worldly victory,
Maybe we can improve our global society,
if we just remember that we all have to pee.
