Hey – the missing part of this comic is “China does not erase debt from US…but US no longer even has the money to pay it back with.”
I was in Cracker Barrel today & loved the coffee mug with the horses on it, but looked at the bottom & MADE IN CHINA—how can Americans CONTINUE to be so stupid & not even care ABOUT THEIR OWN HEALTH—we ALL KNOW after all the deaths from the poison dog/cat foods, poisoned toothpaste, poisoned ingredients we were using in our High Blood Pressure medicines that killed 400 I think, & chldrens toys MADE WITH LEAD PAINT & now over 100,000 homes have made people across the South very ill from poison chemicals in all the SHEETROCK builders bought from China, that NOT ONLY ARE WE KILLING OUR JOBS, but we are KILLING OURSELVES FROM BUYING FROM CHINA AND ASIA!!! So, WHY do we continue to do so, & MOST OF ALL, WHY DO AMERICANS CONTINUE TO BUY THEIR POISON PRODUCTS??? I’m not buying my son a pretty coffee mug MADE IN CHINA that is probably painted with LEAD PAINT that will be put in a hot microwave to heat water for tea or coffee!!! Why should I want my SON TO BE DRINKING FROM THAT CUP???
AND DON’T FORGET WHAT MY SKIN SPECIALIST TOLD ME AFTER I WORE A SHIRT MADE IN INDIA (that cost me 2 visits to the specialist & a shot & salve) THAT GAVE ME LEAD POISONING DUE TO SWEATING IN IT—these countries DO NOT HAVE REGULATIONS LIKE WE DO IN AMERICAN AND TO NOT BUY CLOTHING
FROM THESE COUNTRIES—MY DR. SAID!!!
This even is MORE IMPORTANT IN THE FOODS YOU ARE EATING AT ALL RESTAURANTS WHERE MOST SEAFOODS & NOW MEAT IS COMING FROM THAILAND AND CHINA–FILLED WITH SEWAGE, CHEMICALS, GERMS, ETC. ONLY 1% OF ALL IMPORTED FOODS ARE CHECKED BY OUR US GOVT.!!
IF AMERICANS WANT JOBS, THEN TAKE THE TIME TO READ WHERE the product is made & TELL THE MANAGERS YOU WANT PRODUCTS UNLESS THEY ARE
MADE IN AMERICA ONLY!!! Also tell your grocery store managers that you demand they put signs up telling where the vegetables are from & you DO NOT WANT THEY MIXED WITH OTHER COUNTRIES PRODUCE so you can have a choice from whom you want to buy!! They are doing this NOW in our local HEB after I complained.
Very creative and interesting too. I came to know a new fact that US borrows money from China
one problem with the joke is that the free money was given to the people who run the banks, the ones who caused the problem in the first place.
i sure didn’t get a check.
but aside from that the cycle seams true – then the Chinese try to live our life style – buying cars and poluting the planet. oops.
paul
Looks about right to me! Sure the free money wasn’t given to people quite so blatantly, but the concept holds true.
It’s an interesting take on where we’re headed as well, which is the idea of the world economy. We certainly aren’t there yet (& I think this cartoon was meant more to point out the problems & ironies than anything else), but I see this as one step in the process of figuring out how to do it properly. I like it!
